Wash & Care

Here you will find the best tips and guidelines for washing and maintaining your bamboo clothing:

Washing instructions

It's best to wash your bamboo clothing at 30°C with similar colors. We recommend using detergent without strong enzymes, such as wool/silk soap, preferably fragrance-free.

Underpants and panties can be washed at up to 60°C if you prefer, but this may shorten the garment's lifespan.

Do not use chlorine or bleach for white clothing, as it damages the fibers. Avoid tumble drying and hanging clothes to dry in the sun. If you need to tumble dry, use the gentlest cycle with cold air if possible.

Your bamboo clothing does not tolerate ironing and it's not necessary as it doesn't wrinkle.

Take good care of your socks

Bamboo is a porous fiber and therefore the socks wear out easily if you don’t take good care of them. Normally a pair of socks should be able to stay free from holes for at least 4 months*.

Thinning of socks is not a hole, but refers to a condition where the socks become thinner and less durable over time due to repeated use and washing.

Why am I getting holes in my socks “prematurely”?

This is often caused by hard skin that rubs against the fabric, quickly creating holes. In shoes that are too small, toes can excessively wear against the toe box, leading to holes at the tip of the sock. In shoes that are too large, the sock may slide around and cause extra wear at the heel. Newly trimmed nails can also cut into the sock like a sharp knife, so it’s advisable to use a nail file.

*It is assumed that you have between 10-14 pairs of socks, which you alternate between.
